Last week I visited Seva Mandir, a fantastic NGO working with disadvantaged communities in rural Udaipur. They have created a wonderful fair trade store called Sadhna that works with over 600 women artisans to create beautiful high quality handicrafts that functions as a cooperative, where all women share the profits of their labor. The purses are beautiful and exceptionally well made. If you are ever looking to donate or volunteer for a wonderful organization I highly recommend Seva Mandir.
